Centennial Property Group announced its “off-market” acquisition of an industrial & logistics asset in Brisbane’s south-west corridor for $7.9m. 43 Clinker Street Darra Queensland sold by Savills Industrial & Logistics Qld State Director Callum Stenson.
Centennial has announced its “off-market” acquisition of an industrial & logistics asset in Brisbane’s south-west corridor, located at 43 Clinker Street, Darra, Queensland.
The 4,296sqm generic office and warehouse was acquired for $7.9M, with the sale brokered by Savills Industrial & Logistics Qld State Director, Callum Stenson, and provides Centennial with high-quality industrial accommodation to meet growing demand in a location with limited vacancy.
Situated 13 kilometres south-west of the Brisbane CBD, Darra is an established inner ring industrial and logistics precinct surrounded by a growing residential population. It is considered to be a strategic centre to the Brisbane metropolitan area, with a location that provides access to either the CBD, Ipswich or Logan areas in 20 minutes, and the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast in one hour.
The property is modern, highly generic and features high clearance warehousing with excellent access and flexibility, said Mr Callum.
Centennial Executive Director and CEO – Industrial & Logistics, Paul Ford, confirmed their acquisition with The INDUSTRIALIST.
“Our purchase of 43 Clinker Street remains directly in line with our ‘mid-space’ strategy, which is now at scale and provides further geographical diversification, along with the ability to unlock additional value by accessing the embedded rental reversion,” he said.
“This facility also adds to Centennial’s strong national investment portfolio, with 57 industrial and logistics assets in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.” Added Mr Ford.
