Colliers Director Industrial and Logistics WA, Sam Hammond and Manager Hayden Dick announces Landmark Sale of 26 Wotton Place Bayswater sold to Strategic Transport Operator signifying the largest sale transaction in Bayswater this year.
Colliers Industrial & Logistics team in Western Australia announce the sale of 26 Wotton Place, Bayswater to a strategic transport operator, signifying the largest sale transaction in Bayswater this year.
Colliers Director Industrial and Logistics WA, Sam Hammond and Manager Hayden Dick brokered the deal at the 3.27ha site to a strategic transport operator.
The transaction is one of the largest industrial sales to occur in WA in 2024 with the site being previously held for many years by Green Dog Bus Depot.
Mr. Hammond said, “The sale was negotiated in an off-market transaction for $15.596m. There hasn’t been a significant sale of this type for many years in the precinct. We achieved a fantastic outcome for all involved and have now reset the benchmark for 3+ha of land in Bayswater.”
Mr. Dick said, “In core industrial markets, the demand for large landholdings has significantly outpaced supply over the past couple of years, driving a dynamic shift in market dynamics. Fueled by a surge in demand from owner-occupiers, businesses are expanding their operations in tandem with Western Australia’s strong economic growth and growing population.”
The site will now be home to a new electric bus fleet catering for the new Metronet initiative delivered in Bayswater Station as the first part of the Morley-Ellenbrook Line.
The new electric bus fleet will improve connectivity with the Midland Line, Forrestfield-Airport Link, and Morley-Ellenbrook Line connections.
