Ray White Industrial Milton has taken advantage of the growing Wynnum precinct by sealing five separate deals in the last year, totalling more than $8.5 million combined.
The Brisbane coastal suburb of Wynnum is proving the preferred destination for industrial owner-occupiers, with Ray White Industrial Milton reporting an increase in the number of deals for the region.
According to the agency, Industry Place has seen the bulk of the sales action, due to its seaside location and direct access to the CBD.
The deals have been marketed and executed by Ray White Industrial Milton Selling Principal Stephen Ferguson and TradeCoast Director David Highman.
At a glance:
Mr Ferguson said Wynnum had seen a jump in recent times with buyers enjoying all the location had to offer, as well as the sought-after Wynnum Road connectivity.
“Wynnum Road literally runs from the coast, all the way through to the CBD, so it provides the ideal thoroughfare for businesses,” he said.
“Industry Place has proven particularly popular with owner-occupiers, with sales in this precinct adding up to $5.725 million alone.
“The assets on offer provided everything a commercial business could wish for, with really generous spacing, high roller doors and ease of access.
“Wynnum is the place to be right now if you’re looking for a base for your business, with the Port of Brisbane in close proximity."
The flurry of activity has left only one available site in the estate - a 1,200 square metre corporate freestanding building.
Mr Highman said now was the time to act for buyers.
“Portview Estate lots on Wynnum Road have been snapped really quickly and there are only two of the original 11 lots left for purchasers to take advantage of,” he said.
“The Workstores development in Wynnum is exciting and offers buyers the ideal opportunity to buy their own multi-purpose storage unit and office space.
“The strata developments range from about 65 square metres to 200 square metres and have been bought mainly by owner-occupiers, with sale rates ranging from $2,800 per square metre to $4,000 per square metre.”
