Mr McHugh said the buyer was "attracted to the central location, modern construction and the 5-tonne gantry crane".
After selling 9 Mary St, Como as a going concern in an open market public campaign in November 2019 for $2.5 million, Mr Bradshaw and Mr Neo were approached to resell the site as the new buyer decided against the location for their new corporate HQ.

Mr Bradshaw said once they had been notified about the change of plan, the pair went through a list of active buyers list and found a new purchaser "within a week".
Mr Neo said the transaction was helped by favourable approaches from both parties.
“Interest in the previous campaign was so strong we sold the property prior to the closing date," he said.
“The seller was incredibly humble as they had genuine plans to relocate their business into the property and the new buyer equally as humble as the timing coincided with a lease expiry."
