The family-owned Goumas Smash Repairs has purchased a site at 17-31 Radcliffe Street West Melbourne sold for $12 million by CBRE’s Bryce Pane and Ricardo Cappellett.
With a history dating back to 1960 and an existing centre in Fitzroy, the smash repairer secured 17-31 Radcliffe Street, West Melbourne.
The 3,582sqm site features a high-clearance 1,414sqm warehouse with seven roller doors, and a secure 1,300sqm yard.
The sale price reflects a building rate of $8,486/sqm.
On the corner of Radcliffe Street and Dynon Road, the property offers easy access to the City Link Freeway, Port of Melbourne and Melbourne’s CBD.
CBRE’s Bryce Pane and Ricardo Cappelletti negotiated the transaction on behalf of the vendors, Jcaw Pty Ltd and Mavro Psari Pty Ltd.
“The property attracted interest from occupiers, developers and investors from Melbourne and interstate,” Mr Pane said.
“Its main road corner location, just two kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, led to a record building rate in the suburb.”
