Busselton Margaret River Airport lots in WA's South West seeking investors – City of Busselton.
The City of Busselton is the gateway the city to the Margaret River region and Western Australia’s south west. The City is seeking a variety of expressions of interest to lease or buy lots at the Busselton Margaret River Airport commercial and industrial precinct.
The newly upgraded airport services private and commercial activities, provides freight options for the well-established agriculture and manufacturing industries and supports the region’s vibrant tourism industry.
The City of Busselton owns freehold of the 206 hectare precinct and is considering any investment opportunities relating to general aviation, commercial and industrial or the airport precinct in its entirety.
City of Busselton’s Economic Development Manager, Jennifer May said the precinct is well serviced by strong population and economic growth, world class infrastructure, quality lifestyle incentives and a skilled workforce.
Located 6.5 kilometres south-east of the city centre, the airport is strategically positioned just 30 minutes from the City of Bunbury and 45 minutes from Margaret River.
A dedicated general aviation precinct has been constructed with fully serviced lots available for the construction of private and commercial hangars.
The lots in the general aviation hub range from 150 square metres to 800 square metres with direct airside and apron access to services. The sites are ideally suited for lease for businesses relating to aviation engineering, maintenance and servicing, maintenance repair and overhaul and flight training.
The commercial and industrial precinct also offers 15 hectares of greenfield development area with potential to deliver lots sizes of between 1,500 square metres and three hectares. The sites would suit a wide range of industrial businesses requiring flat sites including airline support, freight and logistics, warehousing, commercial and office facilities.
Other key assets include well established supporting infrastructure with no capacity restraints on the airspace.
The City of Busselton is just two hours’ drive south of Perth and is a rapidly growing south-west region famed for its extensive coastline of pristine beaches, award-winning wines and production of quality dairy products, meat, seafood, fresh fruit, vegetables and truffles.
It is Western Australia’s premier events and leisure tourism destination and a significant centre for high-value, technology based industries including a variety of creative industries.
