Sterling Property has been appointed as Facility Managers for the headquarters of the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP), a state-of-the-art facility located 40km north of Perth's CBD.
Sterling Property has been appointed as Facility Managers for the headquarters of the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP), a state-of-the-art facility located 40km north of Perth's CBD.
The 51-hectare precinct is dedicated to fostering research, development, and testing in robotics, autonomous systems, and remote operations technology.
The AARP, which launched in October 2021, celebrated the unveiling of its newly completed headquarters building last Friday with Minister for Planning; Lands; Housing; Homelessness Hon John Carey BA MLA in attendance, alongside staff from DevelopmentWA, CORE Innovation Hub, and Sterling Property.
The headquarters, officially known as the Common User Facility Building, serves as the central hub of the precinct, housing working space, offices, meeting rooms and training facility, warehouse, laboratories and collaborative co-lab spaces.
Sterling Property’s role will focus on the facility oversight and management of the AARP Headquarters, Building ensuring the smooth operation of this innovative hub that supports industries ranging from mining and resources to technology and drone development.

Sterling’s involvement as Facility Managers will strengthen the company’s as local experts in asset services, positioning it to support a diverse mix of users, including national and international robotics and automation leaders.
