Mr Cairney joins TMX Global from project management consultancy Tactical Group ANZ in Sydney and Brisbane, where he spent eight years working with both occupier and landlord clients, including Woolworths, Primary Connect, Charter Hall, Hale Capital, Logos, Altis, ESR, and Stockland.
He has 25 years of experience in the Australian construction and property industry, particularly on warehouse and distribution facilities, heavy industrial process facilities, and transport and logistics infrastructure.
“Our industrial property clients are in good hands given Nathan’s depth of technical expertise on highly complex, large-scale industrial projects, and his extensive experience in leadership,” Executive Director of Project Services, Andrew Walsh, said.
“At TMX we are specialists in end-to-end supply chain, and it is industry professionals like Nathan who exemplify this sophisticated and hard-earned knowledge and put it to action for our clients.”
TMX Global is an adviser to some of the world’s largest companies, including Bunnings, Coles, Kmart, Coca-Cola Japan, Asahi, and Singapore Post.
Mr Cairney said TMX Global is a business he has always admired, particularly for its integrated work in the industrial and logistics sector.
“The opportunity to join the TMX Project Services team across Sydney and Brisbane was too good to pass up,” Mr Cairney said.

Mr Cairney has worked on developments ranging from 10,000 sqm to 80,000 sqm, up to three-storeys, and varying in complexity – from single-select racking to fully automated material handling systems (MHS) with multiple Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
