Leading end-to-end supply chain solutions company, efm Logistics, has expanded its footprint into Queensland with a 5-year lease at Frasers Property Industrial’s SC1 Archerfield estate leased by Lachlan Hateley and David Knox from Knight Frank.
Leading end-to-end supply chain solutions company, efm Logistics, has expanded its footprint into Queensland with a 5-year lease at Frasers Property Industrial’s SC1 Archerfield estate.
The newly-built warehouse was officially opened last Friday and will be used for efm Logistics’ significant Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL) operations. The specialised facility, equipped with tailored storage systems, will serve as a central hub to safely accommodate, and distribute a combination of diverse and high-value goods including Ozito power tools and Polaris four wheelers.
The leasing deal at SC1 Archerfield estate is efm Logistics’ second tenancy with Frasers Property Industrial, in addition to its facility in the Rubix Connect estate in Victoria.
Speaking at the opening of the warehouse, Troy Whalan, General Manager – Queensland at Frasers Property Industrial, said: “We are very pleased to continue our relationship with efm Logistics, welcoming them to Queensland as the first customer at our SC1 Archerfield estate.
The partnership underscores our position as a key player in supporting large-scale logistics and supply chain operations across the state and with this new facility efm Logistics is well positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities in the region.”
The new facility, spanning 31,363 sqm, was completed in August 2024 and was designed to achieve a 5-Star Green Star As-Built V1.3 rating. The facility also includes 50kW Solar and a 46,400 kL rainwater tank. The warehouse consists of a main office spanning 707 sqm, 173 car parking spaces, six recessed loading docks, six on-grade roller shutter doors and a 36m super awning for all weather operations.
The leasing deal at SC1 Archerfield estate was brokered by Lachlan Hateley and David Knox from Knight Frank and takes the estate to more than half committed, with 12,195 sqm of warehouse space still available for lease.
