A new, local manufacturer of modular building systems, VIRIDI Group has secured a site in Campbelltown for its base.
It has set up operations at 6 Hepher Road, Campbelltown, an 11,440sqm facility, signing a four-year lease for a net rent of $110/sqm.
VIRIDI develops innovative timber structures that can be installed on-site, with a focus on sustainable construction.
The modern, high-clearance warehouse on Hepher Road is adjacent to the M5 Motorway, near the Narellan Road on-ramp and Campbelltown train station.
CBRE’s John Micallef, Moshe Greengarten, Cameron Grier, Tom Rourke and Adam Tresidder secured the tenancy on behalf of the private landlord, having also assisted VIRIDI Group with its search.
“We worked with VIRIDI Group for more than six months to secure a location for its manufacturing operation,” Mr Micallef said.
“This site in Campbelltown proved a great fit for its requirements, given it has gantry cranes and was purpose-built for a similar style of occupant.
“There’s currently significant demand for manufacturing space in western Sydney, and it’s particularly encouraging to see new companies putting down roots.”
