Affinity Windows, a division of BGC, is relocating to a larger, state of the art premises in Jandakot. CBRE Geoff Fraser brokered the five-year sublease deal on behalf of CSR Building Products Group.
The13,826sqm industrial property, situated at 5 Compass Road, was purpose-built for Viridian Group six years ago and is one of the largest industrial workshops in the Jandakot area.
CBRE’s Geoff Fraser brokered the five-year sublease deal on behalf of CSR Building Products Group.
Mr Fraser said the sublease deal highlighted Jandakot’s position as one of Perth’s premier industrial locations.
“Jandakot is at the epicentre of more than $1 billion worth of commercial and industrial infrastructure, including more than 150,000 sqm of new development space to be built,” Mr Fraser said.
“Affinity Windows recognised this building and location will improve and facilitate its evolving business needs over the next five to 10 years.”
Mr Fraser said the transaction coincided with a significant uptick in demand for industrial property.
“WA’s industrial sector is rapidly moving ahead, with unprecedented demand for both property sales and leases on the back of WA’s booming economy. We see this trend continuing until at least the end of 2022, said Mr Fraser
“Land is in high demand, which means the sector will respond with greater development – creating more jobs and infrastructure opportunities for WA.”
Perth and more broadly Western Australia is positioning itself to go from strength to strength over the foreseeable future with strong employment figures, growth in the minerals, petroleum, agri-foods and specialised manufacturing sectors. This is what’s driving the industrial market in WA.
