Global property services firm, JLL, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Adgemis as Senior Director, Industrial & Logistics - VIC.
In his new role, Mr Adgemis will play a vital part in the firm’s newly structured Victorian Industrial & Logistics team.
Mr Adgemis rejoins JLL where he started his career 20 years ago. During his 15-year tenure at CBRE, he served as Senior Director and has a strong reputation in the local market, having concluded some of the largest transactions in Victoria’s South-Eastern industrial market. Notable transactions include Amazon’s first Australian warehouse, Nissan’s Australian Head Office and GM Holden’s Lang Lang proving Grounds.
Specialising in major corporate transactions, large scale development sites and institutional leasing, Stephen has a strong reputation in the industrial sector, and has been recognised with several prestigious awards over his career.
JLL's Head of Industrial & Logistics - Victoria, James Jorgensen said, “We are delighted to welcome Stephen back to JLL. His extensive experience, sharp strategic acumen, long-standing relationships, and deep understanding of the Victorian industrial property market make him a great addition to our team. We are pleased to further enhance our capabilities for our clients with him as part of our team.
“This strategic appointment highlights JLL's commitment to helping our clients achieve their ambitions. By adding Stephen to the Pacific industrial and logistics division, he will assist us in bolstering our institutional leasing capabilities, a key strategy for our business regionally,” said Mr Jorgensen.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr Adgemis said, "I am delighted to return to JLL and take on this new role. JLL is a fantastic organisation and I am excited to be part of the culture they’ve been fostering within their Industrial & Logistics team in recent times. The vision of establishing a world class team within this sector was too exciting an opportunity to pass up, and I look forward to working alongside the talented professionals within the broader business.”
Stephen’s appointment follows other recent senior recruiting appointments that JLL has made to its Industrial & Logistics ranks in Victoria, including Ben Hegerty, James Jorgensen, Lachlan Ferguson and Ned Murphy, Luke Dunstan, Edyn Sibbald and Abigail Dedes.
With Stephen Adgemis on board, JLL is poised to strengthen its position in the industrial and logistics sector, further enhancing its ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients in Victoria and beyond.
