CBRE agents Jarrad Grierson and Derek Barlow announced 49-53 Clarence Beach Road Henderson sold to Development WA, the State Government’s central land and development agency.
Development WA, the State Government’s central land and development agency, has purchased one of Henderson’s largest and most strategic waterfront holdings for $51 million.
Located at 49-53 Clarence Beach Road, Henderson, the 4.63ha waterfront complex comprises 12,740sqm of existing building improvements, 140 metres of water frontage, a sea-bed licence and an established slipway launch structure.
The complex is leased to superyacht builders, Echo Yachts, who recently signed a significant contract for the construction of the world’s largest sail-powered catamaran measuring 57 metres in length.
CBRE’s Jarrad Gierson and Derek Barlow managed the sale on behalf of the private owners via an off-market process.
“The significant scale and direct waterfront access makes this property unique. It stands out as one of the few sites capable of servicing the super yacht and ship manufacturing industry. The strong fundamentals, particularly in defense and mining services, will drive growth and positively impact the Henderson industrial market,” Mr Grierson said.
