A distribution centre in Melbourne built by Dexus for global appliance manufacturer, Electrolux Group, has been awarded a 6 Star Green Star rating, showcasing world leadership in sustainability.
The 6 Star Design & As Built certification from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) is the first received for a building in Dexus’s $11 billion managed industrial portfolio and a first for an Electrolux Group facility in the Asia Pacific region.
To achieve the points-based accolade, both Dexus and Electrolux Group committed to achieving world-leading sustainability standards and efficiency, including:

The Ravenhall site is leading the way for the Electrolux Group in incorporating efficient design principles and serves as a standard for our future projects.”

The Electrolux Group 20,000 square metre warehouse is located at Dexus's Horizon 3023 industrial estate in Ravenhall. Horizon 3023 is a 127-hectare master planned industrial estate in Melbourne’s western growth corridor owned by the Dexus Australian Logistics Trust and Dexus Wholesale Property Fund.
Dexus is one of the largest managers of industrial facilities in Australia, with a portfolio of premium industrial assets, including industrial estates across Perth (Ascend at Jandakot, 186-hectare estate), Melbourne (Horizon 3023), Brisbane (Hemmant, 13- hectares) and Sydney (Quarry at Greystanes, 69-hectare estate).
