“Over the past few years in particular regional Victoria – and especially Geelong - has become an increasingly attractive alternative to Melbourne for many industrial users,” he said.
“The City of Geelong, which encompasses both Avalon and Geelong as well as other industrial suburbs such as Corio and Lara, has been a hub of activity for both leasing and sales, with many investors drawn to the area due to its growing popularity amongst occupiers.
“Geelong offers a more affordable industrial market than Melbourne, but it also benefits from being well connected in terms of transport with improvements to infrastructure being made all the time.
“Knight Frank already have a large presence in the emerging Geelong industrial scene with a number of large appointments.
“We are excited to have Chris on board to bolster our presence in the outer Northwest of Melbourne, in Geelong and surrounds, and better service our commercial and industrial clients in this area.

“Following several years of very strong growth the market has stabilised this year, but it continues to be one of the most sought after by investors,” he said.
“We are strengthening our teams around Australia, including in Victoria, where we are seeing significant growth in regional areas.
“In Geelong we will also work with our partner McGrath Estate Agents, which has a significant presence in the region, to boost the offering of both agencies as we grow our network nationally.”
Mr Bolsin said he was excited to join the team at Knight Frank, and work closely with agents Joel Davy and Nathan Edgar.
“I’m looking forward to building on the existing solid presence Knight Frank has in Geelong, and excited to be part of the growth story in this regional area,” he said.
“Over the past few years there has been an influx of people moving to Geelong and the Bellarine, providing a strong local workforce for companies that have also relocated to the region, and we expect the industrial sector to continue to expand.
“Being a Geelong West resident now and having grown up in the Geelong suburb of Newtown I have local knowledge and connections, which will be strong assets for our team.”
