Sam Stewart of JLL has negotiated a lease for ESR Australia, with a national logistics company over the lease of warehouse space.
The leasing of Unit 2, 163 Viking Drive, Wacol by JLL is cause for celebration but not a surprise, according to Sam Stewart, Director, JLL Industrial Services - Queensland.
"We had been working on this deal for a couple of months prior to the (Coronavirus) outbreak and were still at the lease negotiation stage when stricter policies were brought in in regards to social distancing and isolation," said Mr Stewart to WILLIAMS MEDIA.

"With the tenant part of the transport and logistics industry, which is and will remain essential for Australia, the deal still proceeded.
The property at Viking Drive is a 5, 814sqm distribution facility, which has been taken up on a long term lease by a national transport and logistics company.
"Recent events remind us of the importance of the transport and logistics sector in Australia and the many companies currently operating to ensure we continue to have access to the necessities," said Mr Stewart.
"I think Queensland benefits as a whole with strong transport and logistic companies looking to expand and ensure that we remain connected with other states and the industry continues to transport and supply the essentials."
