Savills Australia has appointed a new Director, Supply Chain, as it continues to expand its Occupier Services.
Bob Quirk, to be based in Melbourne, has more than 40 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics and project management having worked in the USA, Singapore, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand for global companies such as CEVA Logistics, KPMG, XAct Solutions, BAX Global, Kmart and the Royal Australian Air Force.
Quirk has been tasked with establishing, growing and delivering a new supply chain consulting capability within Savills Australia and New Zealand and will work with Occupier Services and Agency teams nationally.

Savills Australia’s National Head of Industrial and Logistics, Michael Fenton, said that Quirk’s appointment was a strategic hire for the business as it aimed to build the quality of services offered to Occupier clients across the country.
He said the new Director would work closely with the National Occupier Services, Industrial & Logistics, Project Management and Location Analytics teams across the business.
“As part of our 'client - first and always' principle, this new staffing dynamic will work to develop efficient, cost-effective supply chain strategies for existing Savills clients and new pursuits including identifying opportunities to relocate or negotiate stay put options,” Fenton said.
“Bob has longstanding relationships with some of the biggest logistics operators in the market. He will enable us to enhance our service offering for major occupier property requirements and provide an end-to-end solution unsurpassed in the Australian market.”
