JLL has promoted Peter Blade to the role of National Head of JLL Logistics & Industrial. CEO of JLL Australia, Stephen Conry said, “We are delighted to announce Peter Blade has been appointed as our new national Head of Logistics & Industrial,”
Mr Blade, who has more than 25 years’ experience in commercial real estate, is currently JLL’s NSW Head of Industrial and Head of JLL’s Parramatta Office – positions he has held since 2018. He will continue in these roles, in addition to his new national leadership position.
Instrumental in the growth of JLL’s Industrial division, Mr Blade has successfully negotiated industrial sales and leasing transactions on behalf of institutional and private landowners, along with major corporate occupiers and tenants in the Outer West region.

“Peter and our industrial agency teams across Australia and NZ will work with our market leading Capital Markets Logistics & Industrial team, led by Tony Iuliano, which focuses on the significant industrial investments transactions nationally.
“Peter has been hugely successful in growing our industrial market share in NSW, while simultaneously bolstering JLL’s presence in Western Sydney, which has been a significant growth market for industrial. In his national leadership role, he will set a new path forward for continued growth as our business moves from strength to strength on the back of booming industrial markets,” said Mr Conry.
JLL Research figures show gross take-up of industrial space exceeded 1.18 million sqm during the second quarter of 2021 – smashing the previous record of 1.15 million sqm that was recorded in the first quarter of this year.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr Blade said, “I am thrilled at the opportunity to build upon the strong foundation and reputation of JLL in the industrial sector. I am also passionate about providing careers pathways and growth through the industrial business, by fostering our next younger generation of leaders, with a particular emphasis on increasing the representation of women in the sector.”
