National builder and developer Vaughan Constructions has announced the appointment of the highly regarded Luke Stambolis to the position of CEO following the retirement of Andrew Noble.
Mr Stambolis brings to Vaughans extensive construction industry experience over more than 27 years having worked in several tier 1 commercial firms in both the UK and Australia culminating in state and national managing director positions.
“I am very excited to join such a long-established and trusted brand in Vaughan Constructions. The brothers Ken and Matt and their long term executive have built a formidable and loyal customer base.
“They are the leading go-to contractor on many fronts including bringing significant value to clients and that is reciprocated with the historical repeat customer success. This is what sets them apart from the competition,’’ Mr Stambolis said.
Vaughan family shareholders Matt and Ken Vaughan welcomed Mr Stambolis’ appointment.
“It’s not often that you get the opportunity to appoint a person with such a wonderful resume as Luke brings with him. He is also a great communicator with sound leadership skills and business acumen that will blend seamlessly with our tight knit and dedicated team.
“And the timing is also great for Vaughans as the company continues on what has been a very successful national growth strategy over recent years,’’ Ken and Matt Vaughan said.
They said the company would continue to focus on the industrial, logistics, manufacturing, food and data sectors while building on tested capabilities within the education and civic sectors.
The popular Mr Noble will exit as of June 30 after serving 35 years with the company.
“We thank Andrew very much for the extraordinary legacy he has created for shareholders, clients, and staff in building Vaughan into the highly successful and national brand it is today.’’
