CBRE has promoted Michael O’Neill to lead its Pacific Industrial & Logistics – Advisory & Transaction Services team amid continued growth in the sector.
Mr O’Neill succeeds Cameron Grier in the role and will combine this with his existing position as the Managing Director of CBRE’s Western Sydney office.
In turn, Mr Grier will focus on the increased Industrial & Logistics (I&L) activity in Sydney’s north and outer-west regions.
CBRE’s Pacific Head of Advisory & Transaction Services Mark Curtain said, “Cameron has held a series of leadership positions at CBRE across two decades, serving as the Managing Director of both our Victorian and New South Wales businesses ahead of his five-year Pacific I&L leadership role. Cameron is opting to spend more market-facing time with our clients while continuing to play a key role in our broader Pacific leadership team.”
Mr O’Neill has helped propel the growth of CBRE’s I&L business since joining the company 18 years ago ahead of taking on the leadership of CBRE’s Western Sydney office in late 2019.
“Michael’s deep market experience working with a wide range of clients marked him as the ideal candidate to lead the more than100 professionals in our Pacific I&L – Advisory & Transaction Services team. I’m excited that Michael is taking the baton from Cameron as the I&L sector continues to grow and evolve,” Mr Curtain said.
