LAWD Senior Director, Peter Sagar, welcomed the appointment of respected Melbourne commercial property specialist, Henry Sayers, to help spearhead the recently announced expansion of its industrial offering.
LAWD announce the appointment of respected Melbourne commercial property specialist, Henry Sayers, to help spearhead the recently announced expansion of its industrial offering.
A qualified lawyer, Mr Sayers has achieved multiple sales and leases across the industrial sector, including the successful sale of land at Trinity Clyde where 81.2ha, made up of three connected landholdings from three vendors, sold for more than $100 million.
The announcement of Mr Sayers’ appointment comes following LAWD’s sale of a major industrial site at 90 Handford Lane, Officer, in Melbourne’s growing south east corridor.
LAWD Senior Director, Peter Sagar, said Mr Sayers would help to apply the business’ proven, bespoke marketing approach to the industrial sector and disrupt the traditional industrial agency model.
“Henry’s appointment will ensure exposure to a large and diverse audience of vendors and buyers, including institutional investors and international stakeholders,” Mr Sagar said.
“He is a commercially astute business and relationship expert specialising in all facets of industrial property in Melbourne’s southeast and is renowned for his ability to negotiate and structure transactions that benefit both selling and buying parties.”
Since its inception in 2020, LAWD has quickly become one of the foremost specialist property firms in the country with industry best services encompassing agribusiness and development transactions, and valuation services.
Mr Sayers said he looked forward to having immediate impact in the expansion of LAWD’s industrial offering.
“I have substantial experience in land sales, off-the-plan developments, existing developments, institutional leasing, englobo land sales and the sale and leasing of existing warehouses, and I am excited to apply LAWD’s detailed and bespoke approach to marketing industrial properties,” Mr Sayers said.
“There is a gap here that LAWD will fill by tweaking the company’s proven approach for residential development and rolling it out in the industrial marketplace.
“I’m very happy to have joined a fast-growing, nationally recognised and internationally connected brand and look forward to maximising the success of this new venture.”
