JLL negotiate the final lease in the Epping Logistics Estate to Excel Logistics. 415 Cooper Street Epping leased by JLL’s Head of Industrial (Victoria) Matt Ellis and Directors Mario Moscon and Anthony Cannizzaro who brokered the deal on behalf of LOGOS and Time & Place. Excel Logistics will occupy approximately 6,000sqm.
Excel Logistics has taken up the last tenancy at the Epping Logistics Estate at 415 Cooper Street, Epping.
JLL’s Head of Industrial (Victoria) Matt Ellis and Directors Mario Moscon and Anthony Cannizzaro brokered the deal on behalf of LOGOS and Time & Place. Excel Logistics will occupy approximately 6,000sqm.
The 46,240 sqm estate includes six tenancies with the remaining five tenant groups to include, Jagsingh Australia, Coco Republic, Fienza, Woodcut, Coast to Coast RV, each taking up between 6,150 sqm and 11,300 sqm of space.
Mr Moscon said, “80 percent of the space in the estate was pre-committed during development stages, with the remaining 20 percent being secured following the recent completion of the estate.”
LOGOS acquired the site in August 2020 due to the excellent access to Melbourne’s key transport network including the Western Ring Road, Craigieburn Bypass and the Hume Highway interchange.
The Epping Logistics Estate offers key sustainability features have been integrated into this best-in-class estate, targeting a 5 Star Green Star certification.
“Demand for industrial and logistics space continue to rise in Melbourne. Originally the site was planned to be subdivided and Time & Place quickly recognised the need to meet market changes and develop the estate to fulfil the shortage of stock,” Mr Moscon said.
Epping has undergone significant change with major social and infrastructure projects scheduled for the next 5-15 years that include the North East Link set for completion in 2027-2028, Western Ring Road upgrades set for completion in early 2023 and the new Epping on Cooper Street that is expected to include more than 2,000 new homes and a northern private hospital scheduled for completion in 15 years.
